About Us As a part of the Creek Crossing community, MVCC offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where guests and family can exalt Jesus in worship, fellowship with other believers, study God’s Word, and serve the Lord and the community along side of other believers.
Mesquite Valley is made up of people from various backgrounds, cultures, and churches. We are a diverse group of believers who are united together in our collective faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and our desire to see him lifted up in our lives and in our community. MVCC is a non-denominational church answering to no other church, outside group, or organization.
Our worship style is contemporary and casual. You are welcome just as you are. We are very glad you have found our website and invite you to be our guest for worship and fellowship as your schedule permits.
You are always welcome at MVCC!

What we Believe and Practice (Faith Statement)
The Bible – We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. We believe the Bible is the record of God's relationship to His people on the earth (especially through the Living word, Jesus Christ) and is useful for our instruction, edification, and training.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105,160; 12:6; Proverbs 30:5*
The Father – We believe in one God who chose to communicate himself to humanity in three personalities. We believe that God the Father made us, loves us, and has reconciles us to Himself through the death of His son Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14*
The Son – We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe Jesus Christ was at the same time, fully man and fully God, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.
We believe Jesus Christ lived a sin free life of obedience to the Father. We believe Jesus Christ freely offered his life for us on the cross as the only acceptable sacrifice. We believe there is no other provision by which we can be saved.
Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4;
Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13*
The Holy Spirit – We believe in the Holy Spirit and that He is the promised comforter. We believe that He dwells in every Christian through faith and baptism. We believe He is the guarantee of our salvation. We believe the lives of those in whom the Spirit dwells will be changed lives that resemble the life and teaching of Jesus. We believe the Holy Spirit equips God's people, the church, with gifts useful in helping others.
2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16;
Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18*
Nature of Humanity – We believe that God created the heavens, the earth and all living things. We believe all human beings are sinful by choice. We believe sin separates us from God. We believe that without God’s provision for sin all would be destined to eternal separation from Him.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2*
Salvation – We believe our only hope for reconciliation with God is the forgiveness found in Jesus Christ through the grace of God. We believe those seeking salvation in Christ will confess their belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, turn away from (repent of) their sin, and be immersed in water (baptized*) as an expression of their faith in Christ and their inward commitment to Him, resulting in the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5;
Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1; Acts 2:38*
The Church – We believe that all who confess Christ, repent of sin, and have been baptized for the forgiveness of their sins are members of His Church. We believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of His Church. We believe the church is the living presence of Jesus Christ in the world. We believe God’s grace is available all who place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, rather than in their own efforts. While we stand against sin we lovingly accept all who earnestly and honestly seek a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the church should provide a haven for those searching for healing, relief, and renewal.
We believe the Lord's Supper (Communion) is a reminder of the sacrifice made for the forgiveness of our sins. At the Lord's table we are united in our common faith. The Lord’s Supper is central to our weekly worship and is a solemn time of reflection.
1 Corinthians 12:27; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:10; Ephesians 4:11-14*
Eternity – We believe Jesus is coming again. We believe in the final resurrection of the dead and the final judgment. We believe those found to be in Jesus Christ will through the Grace of God, spend eternity with Him in Heaven and those who do not know him will spend an eternity separated from God.
John 3:16-18; I John 2:25; 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15*
